The Story

Not necessarily! While it's a heroic fantasy with elves, magic and prophecies, the story focuses on universal emotions: self-discovery, the choice between tradition and freedom, accepting one's origins. The characters are endearing and human (even the elves!), and the universe is gradually revealed without inaccessible jargon. If you enjoy coming-of-age journeys and family secrets, you'll love it.

The trilogy will include 3 volumes. Volume 1 is currently available on Amazon. It lays the foundations of the Luminar universe, introduces Lifyia and her exceptional destiny, and launches her on her first great journey beyond the mists. Volumes 2 and 3 will deepen the political stakes, revelations about the elves' past, and the threatening return of the Shadow.

Like all my projects, The Heirs of Luminar explores cycles and civilizational mechanisms. Here, it's through the millennial isolation of the elves and the consequences of the Great War. Fantasy allows these universal themes (collective memory, transgenerational choices, balance between conservation and evolution) to be addressed in an imaginary framework that frees reflection.

Because fantasy, like digital art, allows us to question our reality by creating parallel worlds. The elves of Luminar live isolated behind protective mists, a metaphor for our own cultural and technological bubbles. Lifyia must learn to navigate between tradition and transformation, like us facing technological upheavals. Each medium (art, AI, literature) explores the same causal forces from different angles.
