Everything you need to know about my exhibition journey
My journey began in Bordeaux's artistic culture, through associations and attending galleries and collective exhibitions (Bordeaux Independents, Atelier Aquitaine). In 2021, after several years trading crypto, I decided to stop speculation and start creating. That's when my first collections were born: Price of Freedom: 40cts accompanied by a photo exhibition. Since then, I've exhibited in various locations between Bordeaux and Paris, and created over a thousand digital works on Ethereum and Polygon blockchains. My work explores civilizational cycles through contemporary art installations.
I define myself as a crypto-artist: a contemporary artist using blockchain as a tool for creation and distribution. In France, few artists combine traditional physical exhibitions (galleries, castles), massive NFT collections (over 1800 works on OpenSea) and street art. Since 2021, I systematically create doubles: physical works exhibited in Bordeaux and NFT versions accessible worldwide. This hybrid approach characterizes my work, even though the path to recognition remains long.
My practice reflects my vision of art: accessible, decentralized, non-elitist. Formal exhibitions (Les Vivres de l'Art, Espace Mably, Château Siaurac) legitimize my work with institutions. Wild exhibitions (Palais Galien Ruins, Chartrons Wall, Public Garden) bypass gatekeepers to directly reach the urban public. This dual approach is consistent with my NFT collections: blockchain allows art distribution without gallery intermediaries, just as street art bypasses museums. Art must be free, questioning, and accessible.
Since 2021, I've created over 1800 digital works available on OpenSea (Ethereum blockchain), distributed across 12 collections: Pareidolia Microscopia (316 works), Grimmstein (342), Micromension (581), etc. On the physical side, I've exhibited several ephemeral installations and works in about ten locations: Cycles & Civilisations (7 works), What's the Price of Freedom? (36 works), The Seven (ongoing series). This intensive production reflects my conviction: art must be prolific to explore all facets of an idea.
All my works explore civilizational cycles: how societies are born, prosper, decline, and regenerate. Cycles & Civilisations analyzes transgenerational causality (gold, oil, nuclear). What's the Price of Freedom? dissects the consumption cycle (demo, appearance, illusion, abandonment). The Seven revisits the seven deadly sins in the digital age. Each exhibition, each NFT, is a piece of a larger puzzle: understanding the invisible forces shaping our collective and individual trajectory.
